Plan Reading

Students will review the fundamentals of complex Plan Reading.  Comprehension and enforcement of construction plans for typical construction in concrete, masonry, steel and wood will be emphasized.

1. Start with simple  plans and concepts
2. Moving slowly into complex structural plans
3. Building confidence and comprehension for  Structural Plan quiz

Upon completing this seminar the individual should:

1. Understand the necessity of detailed inspection
2. Recognize and comprehend construction plans and specifications
3. Be better prepared for ICC special Inspector exams
4. Apply knowledge to building projects
