An Intensive Course in Preparation for the ICC Reinforced
Concrete Certification Examination

This special seminar will be presented in approximately 16 hours of technical training designed to help those experienced in concrete inspection prepare for the ICC exam. This course will enhance your knowledge of the technical aspects, duties and responsibilities of Reinforced Concrete Special Inspection in accordance with provision of the 2003 International Building Code. Other applicable texts include: ASTM, ACI and CRSB Manuals.

Topics to be covered include: General inspection practice, Structural plan reading, Concrete mix design review, Concrete reinforcement, Inspection reports, Handling and placing concrete, Formwork and embedded items, Concrete specifications -sampling specimens, testing and evaluations
